The anatomical makeup of dogs shows that they are carnivores, which is precisely why grain-free is your best option. Pork has the highest digestibility of most all protein sources for dogs. This is the reason we started with pork as our first recipe and why it will always remain our foundation formula.

Meat Treats: Our meat treats contain NO: GLUTEN, MSG, HYDROGENATED OILS, CORN SYRUP PRODUCTS, MALTODEXTRIN, CARRAGEENAN, MODIFIED FOOD STARCH, NITRITES/NITRATES(except which naturally occur), ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, PRESERVATIVES, or COLORS.
Our meat treats are made from USDA inspected turkey in a USDA inspected facility in Michigan. This is the same quality of turkey used for human consumption. You may be thinking these sound good enough to eat and you are right, but we are required by law to say “Not for Human Consumption” because the packaging pertains to pets.
Remember our treats DO NOT have chemical preservatives on them. They also DO NOT have any of the processed things listed above. Therefore, mold will occur quicker. We do all we can to remove oxygen from the bags, but it’s not foolproof. In the rare case that you have an unopened pack of meat treats with mold, take a picture, send it to us, and we will replace it with 2 packs in your next food order.

Puppies should generally be given as much food as they want during their growing stage. Our guidelines are just a starting point but in general if your dog is eating all his food at each feeding, he may need more. We recommend a full feed scenario where your puppy has access to food at all times. He will learn to self-regulate and this will eliminate food aggression or possible bad behaviors related to hunger. We recommend if you are still in the potty-training stage to offer a full bowl 3 to 4 times a day. It can be very normal for pups to change their intake amount from day to day based on exercise, growth and season. Allowing them to self-regulate will ensure they are getting their nutrition based on their individual needs.
