Puppies should generally be given as much food as they want during their growing stage. Our guidelines are just a starting point but in general if your dog is eating all his food at each feeding, he may need more. We recommend a full feed scenario where your puppy has access to food at all times. He will learn to self-regulate and this will eliminate food aggression or possible bad behaviors related to hunger. We recommend if you are still in the potty-training stage to offer a full bowl 3 to 4 times a day. It can be very normal for pups to change their intake amount from day to day based on exercise, growth and season.
